¾ Cup Butter
¾ Cup Margarine
1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
1 Cup White Sugar
3 Large Eggs
1 Tsp Vanilla
4 Cups All-purpose Flour or about 3 2/3 cups bread flour
1 ½ tsp Baking Power
1 ½ tsp Baking Soda
2 ½ Cups Oatmeal
2 ½ Cups Hershey’s Chocolate Chips
Cream Butter and Margarine then cream in sugars. Add Eggs one at a time. Add Vanilla.
In separate bowl mix flour, baking power and baking soda. In another small bowl, measure out oatmeal. Alternately add flour and oatmeal to creamed mixture.
Dough will be very heavy. With a wooden, spoon stir in chocolate chips.
Bake at 350 degree’s for 10-12 min. until there is just a hint of brown.
Cookies will be soft bottoms will be browned . Remove and cool on a cooling rack.
Makes 4 dozen

Some do look very familiar.
Maybe when mom sees them you could have a credit for what she taught you -- beginning with the frying of eggs when you were three years old!
